OverviewDillon Engineering Services has partnered with a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics, and the UK. As a Junior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in our project implementation and delivery processes, closely collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and industry experts to ensure the safe completion of projects.ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:Offering general support to the Health and Safety Manager.Assisting in site administration and preparing weekly reports.Conducting weekly site audits and presenting progress reports to the client.Conducting Health and Safety Inductions for new team members.Maintaining the training matrix and informing management of training needs.Conducting site inspections and audits in collaboration with the EHS Team.Gathering and organizing pertinent information for the Safety File.QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should have:A relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification is essential.A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.Experience in the Construction Sector is beneficial.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is necessary.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package based on your experience and qualifications.
