Dornan are currently recruiting for a Mechanical AP to work on one of our projects in Cork.Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation. Your day to day will include:Issue and control LOTO permitsPlanning IsolationsExecuting Isolations & Removal of isolationsAcceptance & Approval of Energisation RequestsManaging subcontractors and required Site PersonnelAttend various meetings with clients, sub-contractors, project teams offering support and assistance on Mechanical systems deliveryAssist with ensuring a safe work environmentHave full responsibility for all matters relating to enrolment of Authorised Persons and Implementation of Dornan COHEEnsure the appropriate certificates and reports are issued for all completed mechanical works on the project to GDP StandardEnsure the relevant information, instruction, training and supervision is afforded to all employees, sub-contractors and third parties in relation Dornan COHEManage Mechanical safety systems including LOTOAssist the project team in their production of 'as-built' documentation and the Health & Safety File.Assist with Quality Control Inspections of Mechanical SystemsAll other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your managerWhat we are looking for:10 + years' experience in a similar role.Detailed knowledge of the Authorised Person roleHealth, Safety and Environmental knowledgeCommercial UnderstandingKnowledge of the teams' strengths and weaknesses#LI-KK1 #DOR1Why Dornan?Our commitment to our employees development - we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.Health & Wellbeing - Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
