Our client,
a leading multi-disciplinary company, is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their Kildare-based team. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 4-5 years of experience in industrial electrical work, offering a balance of maintenance and small installation projects. The preferred candidate will have experience in one of Gas, Instrumentation. EV Charging, WasteWater, Water, Solar, Substations, Public Lighting. While training on instrumentation will be provided as needed, applicants should have a strong foundation in industrial electrical systems. Candidates should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical & Instrumentation Service: Perform electrical and instrumentation commissioning, maintenance, and repairs on equipment at wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues on-site, particularly within control panels and other equipment.
3. Installation: Install new plant items, including wiring control panels, pumps, instruments, and various electrical components.
4. Client Interaction: Communicate daily with the Service department and clients, providing updates on findings and recommendations.
5. Administration: Complete administrative tasks, including report writing, record-keeping, and documentation.
6. Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer service throughout all interactions and projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
7. Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative and can work effectively without constant supervision.
8. Strong Communication Skills: Capable of clear written and verbal communication.
9. Willingness to Learn: Open to gaining new skills, particularly in instrumentation.
10. Preferred Criteria: Gas, Instrumentation. EV Charging, WasteWater, Water, Solar, Substations, Public Lighting experience.
Requirements
11. Qualifications: Fully qualified electrician with industrial experience, especially in three-phase power (experience with mA and control wiring is advantageous).
12. Driver's License: Holds a full, clean driving license.
