ViVA Tech Talent are working with a high-growth global payments technology company investing heavily in modernising its engineering and delivery platforms across hybrid on-prem and cloud environments.
This is a senior, hands-on Principal DevOps role where you will establish DevOps standards, tooling, and culture across a complex enterprise landscape. You’ll act as a player-coach, enabling teams to deliver reliably across on-prem infrastructure and multi-cloud platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Designing and evolving enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines spanning on-prem and cloud environments
Driving automation across build, release, and deployment for hybrid infrastructure
Leading DevOps strategy across on-prem data centres and AWS / Azure / GCP
Championing Infrastructure as Code for both cloud and on-prem workloads
Acting as a subject-matter expert and mentor across engineering and platform teams
Embedding security, quality, and compliance gates into delivery pipelines
Key experience
10+ years in DevOps / CI/CD / platform engineering roles
Strong experience supporting production systems in on-prem and hybrid environments
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Cloud expertise across AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Strong Linux experience and scripting (Python, Ruby or similar)
Experience working in complex, regulated, enterprise environments
