Purpose of the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our team, working autonomously and with initiative. They will also be expected to ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and health service executive policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and participate in shift management when on duty
* Provide direct care to individuals, following established care plans, protocols, and procedures
* Assess the needs of individuals under care and develop individualized care plans
* Implement appropriate care interventions and monitor progress and outcomes
* Train and orient new care team members, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care
* A relevant degree (minimum level 7) in Social or Health Care
* A proven track record of managing a residential service that meets quality, regulatory, and legislative requirements
