Salary Range: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated and compassionateSEN Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)to work within a supportive Primary SEN School inLouth and surrounding areas such as Grimsby and Cleethorpes. If you have experience working with students who have a range of SEN needs, includingAutism (ASC), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As anSEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide crucial support to primary-aged students with varying SEN needs. You will assist in both academic learning and personal development, ensuring students are able to access the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs. This role involves both one-to-one and small group support, tailored to enhance each student’s learning experience.
SEN Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged students with various SEN needs.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs) and personalised interventions.
* Promote positive behaviour strategies, using reinforcement techniques to encourage self-regulation and focus.
* Help students with personal care and mobility needs as required.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure each student receives the appropriate level of support.
* Support students in building independence, self-confidence, and social skills.
* Provide emotional and social support, promoting a positive atmosphere within the classroom.
SEN Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Job Requirements:
* Experience working with SEN students, particularly in a primary school setting.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a genuine passion for helping students with SEN.
* Strong understanding of a variety of SEN conditions, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to travel to various schools in Louth, Grimsby, and Cleethorpes.
* Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
