Druid seeks a Marketing and Communications Professional to join our busy team.Do you have a flair for language? Do you enjoy coming up with creative concepts and following them through to execution? Do you enjoy working with a range of partners across design, video, PR and media? Are you highly skilled at meeting deadlines and working across multiple projects at once?Based in Galway, and reporting to the CEO, primary duties will include:Lead all marketing and communications relating to Druid and The Mick Lally TheatreDevise marketing strategy for all Druid productions and The Mick Lally TheatreOversee execution of marketing assets including, but not limited to, video, imagery, posters, flyers and advertisingPrepare content for production programmes and oversee print of sameLiaise with PR company on PR strategy and execution of sameOversee all social media accounts for Druid and The Mick Lally TheatreOversee subscriber lists and regular e-zines for Druid and The Mick Lally TheatreManage all internal and external communicationsRepresent Druid at local and national events of relevanceSupport the Development Manager with written and verbal approaches to sponsorsSupport the preparation of reports for Druid’s board and funding bodies and agenciesSkills:At least three years’ marketing experienceExcellent working knowledge of theatre/the artsA creative eye for imagery and designExperience working across different social media platforms and CMSAbility to work to deadlineAbility to work off own initiativeProficient in Word and ExcelProficient in Adobe Creative Suites/Photoshop or similar software (desirable)Please apply to maureen.kennelly@druid.ie with your CV and a succinct cover letter by 5pm on Friday February 27th 2026Salary commensurate with experience.Druid is grateful for the funding support we receive from The Arts Council
