Overview
Recruitment Manager (Technology, Engineering & Data/AI) at ACCPRO | Interview Coach — My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to oversee the efficient delivery of electrical switchgear projects from sales handover through to completion. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will coordinate with engineering, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from planning through to closeout, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of switchgear systems.
Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing progress reports and addressing any issues promptly.
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management within the switchgear, electrical, or power industries.
Strong technical knowledge of switchgear systems and commissioning processes.
Proven track record in managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets.
Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
PMP or similar project management certification.
Experience with international electrical standards and safety practices.
