Overview

Our client, a leading full-service communications consultancy, is seeking to appoint a Senior Client Manager / Client Director. This senior-level position is ideal for an experienced PR or communications professional ready to take ownership of client relationships, lead strategic campaigns, and contribute to agency growth and purpose-led initiatives. The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Client Service, the Senior Client Manager / Client Director will play a strategic leadership role across multiple client accounts. You will act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, provide expert communications counsel, and lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns that deliver meaningful results. The successful candidate will combine strong strategic thinking and creativity with commercial awareness, leadership skills, and a passion for purpose-driven communications.


Key Responsibilities

* Client Leadership & Strategy: Lead strategic planning and delivery across multiple client accounts; Serve as the key contact for senior client stakeholders; Develop and oversee integrated communications strategies aligned with client objectives; Provide senior counsel on brand, reputation, and media strategy.
* Campaign Development & Delivery: Lead impactful media relations and influencer engagement campaigns; Oversee social media strategy and content planning across platforms; Manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs across all client projects.
* Business Development & Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities; Lead pitch development and proposal creation; Build and nurture long-term client relationships; Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth; Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities, and thought leadership forums.
* Sustainability & Purpose: Champion the organisation’s environmental and social goals; Embed B Corp values and responsible business practices into client work and agency culture.


Person Specification


Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PR agency or in-house communications role.
* Demonstrated success in client leadership and strategic campaign management.
* Strong knowledge of the Irish media and influencer landscape.
* Experience managing and mentoring teams.
* Proven ability to grow and retain client accounts.
* Excellent strategic and creative thinking.
* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
* High level of organisation and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
