Service Coordinator, Limerick
Company Overview
Our client is a mechanical contracting company specialising in HVAC and industrial refrigeration. They are seeking a Service Coordinator to join their service department.
Role Overview
The Service Coordinator will work closely with Service Engineers (Refrigeration and HVAC units), managing service schedules, data entry, and system management. Previous experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Engineering, or Construction is beneficial. This role involves customer contact and coordination with internal stakeholders, requiring strong planning, organisation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
1. Schedule service and maintenance contracts with clients and service engineers.
2. Enter data into the service scheduler system.
3. Ensure timely receipt and management of service documentation.
4. Coordinate with the stores department to ensure availability of tools and calibration equipment.
5. Maintain holiday and resource availability trackers for service engineers.
6. Support software implementation and updates.
7. Manage callouts from clients and coordinate with the main office.
8. Maintain service contract calibration schedules, especially for gas detection equipment.
9. Create and update service check sheets to ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
10. Report key performance indicators to the contract manager.
11. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams daily.
Skills & Requirements
* Experience or understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, Engineering, or Construction environments is advantageous.
* Strong scheduling and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in PC skills and customer service IT systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Mechanical background is helpful but not essential.
* Experience with service management systems is preferred.
