Job Purpose:
This role provides secretarial and administrative support to the Secretary of IDA, and the Manager and other members of staff within the Secretariat Team and may over time involve providing support to one of IDA's internal Committee's. This role requires administrative and organisational skills, effective communication and attention to detail.
Key Tasks:
* To provide high quality and efficient administrative support to the Secretary, Manager and Team members of the Secretariat Team to include meeting organisation and follow up, preparation of draft minutes, and other documents as agreed by the Team.
* To be responsible for the electronic circulation of internal IDA Committee documentation.
* To organise the booking of meeting rooms for IDA Committees, Board and sub-Committees of the Board.
* To manage, track and update various spreadsheets and documents that are held by the Team including various Procedural and Policy Documents.
* To work as part of the Secretariat & Government Liaison team in co-ordinating the completion and delivery of Early Warning Reports to DETE and the Management Committee.

* To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.

Additional Requirements:
* An in-depth knowledge of standard computer packages, proficiency, and experience in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential together with the ability to use social media platforms.
* Excellent Project Management and time management skills, in addition to attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet challenging deadlines and to work flexibly and independently on own initiative.
* A Certificate level qualification is desirable together with an interest in working towards a Diploma/Degree qualification.
* Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities, which may arise in IDA's offices in Ireland and Overseas.
Salary Scale:
€27,577 to €45,479 per annum contributory superannuation.
Rising by long service increments to €46,789 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range). *Non Negotiable to start at the minimum of the scale*
