Senior Investment Consultant
Zurich Life Assurance plc is inviting applications for a Senior Investment Consultant to join our investment‑focused team based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. The role reports to the Head of Investment Solutions and involves working with a defined‑contribution pension scheme cohort, supporting new business development, and interacting with our investment management team both at front and back office.
Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work within one of Ireland’s most successful investment providers, with an award‑winning investment management team. The position may be part‑time or full‑time, with flexible arrangements discussed during the interview. The role is a “Controlled Function (CF)” within the meaning of the Central Bank Reform Act, 2010.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the production and enhancement of timely, high‑quality investment material, bespoke and standard periodic reports.
* Support Zurich’s CRM and distribution teams across RFPs, thought‑leadership collateral, investment‑oriented events, and distributor meetings.
* Build and maintain relationships with core corporate defined‑contribution employers, trustees, and consultants.
* Conduct market research and monitor prevailing investment trends in the Irish and international Group DC market.
* Disseminate Zurich’s views on asset allocation and macroeconomic developments in a regular, thought‑provoking, and timely fashion.
* Play a leading role in ensuring all relevant regulatory, governance, and compliance considerations are adhered to.
Requirements
* Five+ years of experience in a similar role or with a relevant skill set.
* Direct experience in the Irish market is essential.
* Demonstrated track record in client relationship management with a clear investment focus.
* Strong academic background in a related field, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Professional academic credentials (e.g., CFA, AIIPM, CFP).
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
* Willingness to stay up to date with fast‑moving investment market developments.
* Excellent attention to detail and superb communication and presentation skills.
* Quantitatively minded and comfortable with investment metrics and datasets.
* Ability to summarise and present key investment topics to an external audience.
* Deep interest in all things investment.
