Export Assistant Reporting functionally to: Head of Commercial Reporting operationally to Logistics Coordinator Location: Nenagh/Tipperary Town Business Sector: Dairy Ingredients Purpose: The Export Assistant manages the administrative and logistical steps required to ship product to customers on time and in full.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following: Assist in allocating stock to customer contracts in line with agreed specifications and volumes and timelines as directed by Logistics coordinator- generating picklists uploading dispatch dates, hauliers and containers and ensuring accuracy of invoicing.
Support Maintenance of the contract book, ensuring all sales orders, deliveries and balances are accurate and up to date.
Prepare order confirmations and liaise with Logistics coordinator regarding call offs and contract progress.
Provide input into production schedules.
Assist with the Coordination of transport providers and freight forwarders and warehouses to schedule timely shipments.
Prepare export documents including invoices, packing lists COO/COA health certs etc as per customer and regional requirements.
Ensure communication lines are open in terms of shipping and document requirements.
Ensure erp system is up to date with picklists and accurate loading dates.
Maintain all required documentation for BRC ISO compliance i.e. ensuring traceability.
Qualifications/Experience required for this role: 2 years' experience in export/logistics of food products desirable 3 rd level qualification is desirable but not essential Strong ERP/Softrace aptitude Key Skills/Attributes/Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills High Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure of deadlines Good understanding of stock management principles To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
