Equipment Maintenance Technician
The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of automated equipment, contributing to the achievement of operational goals. This position works closely with teams to resolve manufacturing issues and constraints, implementing safe and effective solutions to enhance overall efficiency through improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repairs and troubleshoots electro/mechanical equipment failures, adhering to established procedures.
* Schedules and performs preventative maintenance procedures, maintaining accurate documentation.
* Moves, installs, sets up, and refurbishes equipment as required, ensuring smooth operation.
* Records significant downtime issues and resolutions in relevant databases.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Strong knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.
* Excellent troubleshooting/Problem solving skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving technical issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to achieving manufacturing excellence, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, combined with experience working with PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components, would be highly beneficial.
