We are looking for a Decisions Support Systems Manager for a multinational financial services organisation based in Dublin with massive clients worldwide, this organisation employs thousands of people in multiple countries, they use innovative software and IT solutions. This role will lead the EMEA application support function, responsible for a suite of critical proprietary applications. The role includes management of support personnel, technical direction in detailed software support, and is business-facing: communications and relationship management with the regional business functions is key to success in the role. This role partners with technology product owners, application support and infrastructure teams, regionally and globally. The role reports to the Global Head of Application Support

You:
The successful candidate will have more than 5 years experience in application support in an international large business and be a hands on energetic team leader, with experience in supporting business-critical platforms in a regional or global support model. Technically strong, organized, detailed, committed, and a mature communicator.
* Degree in Technology
* 5+ years of hands-on experience as a senior contributor in Support/Development/Infrastructure Services
* 2+ years of experience managing teams at Team Lead level or higher
* Good technical competence around unix/windows systems, scripting for application support including SQL
* Good database knowledge including performance tuning
* Knowledge of industry standards such as ITIL, LEAN in delivering support
* AWS Cloud operations experience and/or certification
* Financial Services industry or financial services experience with some regulatory and Compliance experience.
