Working closely with the Head Chef, you will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, and help drive the efficiency of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role that requires strong culinary expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and inspire junior chefs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution, with a focus on smash burgers, wings, pizzas, and other bar-food favourites.Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during busy service periods.Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control to achieve budget targets.Maintain rigorous standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with HACCP.Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.Take charge in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.Contribute input for specials and events.Skills & Experience RequiredMinimum 3–5 years' experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen, with at least 1 year in a sous chef or senior role.Strong culinary skills with a passion for high-quality bar and casual dining food.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance.Strong organizational and time-management skills.A team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others.What We Offer4 Day Working WeekCompetitive salary package.Opportunities for career progression within a growing business.A vibrant and supportive work environment.Staff discounts on food and beverages.Training and development opportunities.Job Type: Full-timePay: €17.00-€20.00 per hourExpected hours: 44 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeEmployee discountWork Location: In person
