What we are looking for
A high level technical architect with deep hands-on experience designing and delivering complex software platforms around artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and automation frameworks. This position requires an individual who can define architecture at an enterprise level while also building working implementations that validate design decisions. A critical requirement for this role is proven experience developing AI agentic systems or multi-step automated workflows that have been successfully deployed into production environments. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to move beyond experimentation or prototype work and deliver reliable, scalable solutions used in real-world operational settings. The successful individual will operate as a senior technical authority, influencing engineering direction through practical delivery, strong system design capability, and deep technical knowledge rather than direct management responsibility.
Duties Required
Define and implement architectural patterns for scalable AI-driven platforms and intelligent workflow automation systems
Design and build production-ready agent-based or orchestration-driven solutions capable of executing complex multi-step processes
Develop working prototypes and reference implementations to validate architectural concepts before full-scale delivery
Establish integration standards, API contracts, and service communication patterns that support extensible platform design
Design system-level controls for reliability, monitoring, traceability, and operational safety in automated decision systems
Provide technical guidance on machine learning and AI system deployment, including model lifecycle management and operational performance monitoring
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure architecture decisions align with long-term platform strategy
Introduce scalable cloud-native deployment patterns, including containerization, distributed processing, and event-driven services
Evaluate new frameworks, tools, and technologies relevant to AI and automation platforms and recommend adoption where appropriate
Skills & Experience Required
10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform architecture, or distributed system design
Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI or agentic systems into production, including automated workflows or multi-agent orchestration
Strong background designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems
Hands-on development experience with Python and at least one additional language such as TypeScript or C#
Experience working with AI orchestration frameworks, workflow engines, or automation platforms
Solid understanding of API architecture, microservices, and service-oriented system design
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar enterprise environments
Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and performance management for complex systems
Understanding of software architecture principles including scalability, reliability, and maintainability
