Overview
Portfolio Administrator - Investments at Corebridge Financial. This role provides operational support to internal stakeholders including the Asset Management Front Office, Investment Accounting, Global Capital Markets, Middle Office, Compliance and Treasury.
Who You’ll Work With
The Investments business is a key driver of revenues and profitability at Corebridge Financial. The Investments team invests insurance premiums and deposits to generate net investment income and provides advisory and asset management solutions across multiple asset classes. The team includes portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, product owners, loan originators and underwriters and other professionals to deliver strong returns on invested capital.
About The Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide operational support to internal stakeholders not limited to but including Corebridge Financial Asset Management Front Office, Investment Accounting, Global Capital Markets, Middle Office, Compliance and Corebridge Financial Treasury.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Aladdin cash exceptions reports to ensure cash non-receipts and cash differences between Aladdin records and custodian records are escalated after review of commentary, root cause, and responsible party.
* Oversee Aladdin Position exception reports, reviewing differences between Aladdin vs Custodian and Aladdin vs External Investment Managers and escalate breaks to resolve where possible.
* Maintain PMF (Portfolio Master File) workflow to ensure requests are actioned in a timely manner.
* Oversee PMF (Portfolio Master File) control reports to ensure Corebridge Financial records are aligned with Aladdin records and escalate where not aligned.
* Act as a single point of contact for Investment Accounting, Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance and Insurance Companies on investment operations queries.
* Distribute monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders timely and accurately.
* Continually review processes to identify areas for increased efficiency and risk reduction.
* Assist with regular audit-related requests from internal and external auditors.
* Support the team manager and team lead as required.
Skills And Qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience within an investment function.
* Strong knowledge of front and back-office processes within an investments business, gained by working with multiple desks on various initiatives.
* Initiative to problem-solve and work independently is essential.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, IF statements, pivots and macros.
* Experience using Aladdin is an advantage.
* Degree in business, finance or a related discipline desirable.
