Facilities Technicians play a crucial role in the smooth operation of industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of mechanical and utility systems, including boilers, HVAC, compressed air, pumps, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and utility systems.
* Support the ongoing operation and maintenance of facility infrastructure, including water treatment systems, waste management, fire systems, and building fabric.
* Respond to facility-related breakdowns and service interruptions, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
* Monitor and log system performance, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Assist with installations, commissioning, and upgrades of facility-related equipment and infrastructure.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum NFQ Level 6 (Advanced Certificate) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* At least 3 years of facilities or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utilities infrastructure.
* Good understanding of health & safety, food safety, and environmental compliance in a regulated setting.
