Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating order fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
* Coordinate order fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
* Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures to maximise productivity and minimise costs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
* Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing support and guidance to improve team performance.
* Consult with external logistics partners to coordinate deliveries and manage inbound/outbound shipments.
* Monitor and report on key warehouse metrics to the management team.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3+ years experience in warehouse management.
* In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
* Excellent IT skills with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems.
* Outstanding organisational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work in a challenging environment.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
