About the Role As a Production Planner, you will play a vital role in coordinating production activities, ensuring materials and resources are available, and keeping manufacturing output on schedule.
Working closely with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehousing, Quality, and Production teams, you will help maintain an efficient flow across all operations.
Key Responsibilities Create and maintain production schedules, balancing workloads to maximise efficiency and output.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality to ensure timely materials, inspections, and delivery commitments.
Manage customer escalations, stalled WIP orders, and Outside Processing suppliers to prevent delays.
Adjust schedules quickly in response to machine downtime and other disruptions.
Ensure timely release of Finished Goods and build strong proficiency in the Access ERP system.
Requirements Proven experience in production planning, supply chain, or related operational roles, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Highly organised and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills to address challenges efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with ERP systems, with Access ERP experience considered an advantage.
