Night PorterWe are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic and approachable individuals to join our amazing team People who can build rapport with ease and continue to give our guests confidence in the fact that every element of their holiday is being delivered by people that care.Key Responsibilities and Tasks:Conduct regular checks throughout the night to ensure the hotel is secure, and that any customer issues are dealt withRespond to any emergencies that occur in a timely professional and confident mannerComplete any hotel host or administrative tasks that have been set by your line manager. This could include late check-in, cleaning, kitchen prep, bar work, stock checks, preparation for next day eventsYou will need the ability to cope with unsociable hours and working aloneAble to deal with customers in both a friendly and authoritative mannerTo be customer service orientated at all times and encourage direct feedback from our guestsDevelop a positive working relationship within all teamsQualifications and Experience required:Previous night porter experience or hotel host experience preferable but not essentialCustomer service experience and working with the publicFor insurance purposes, you would need to be aged 21 or overKnowledge, Skills and Abilities required:Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work alone throughout the nightAbility to work well under pressureAbility to use your initiative and to follow written/verbal instructionsKnowledge of food safety & hygieneKnowledge of general health & safety proceduresPersonal Qualities:Organised and punctualIndependent, but also happy to work with a teamApproachable, welcoming, professional and enthusiasticHighly motivatedFlexibleClean and tidy appearanceJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Food allowanceOn-site parkingExperience:Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Work Location: In person
