Job Overview
We are recruiting an enthusiastic registered nurse to join our nursing team within Nithsdale Ward, Midpark Hospital. This is a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse position. The post is part‑time, 18 hours per week, and fixed‑term until 23 August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe, effective, patient‑centred care as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Perform mental health and risk assessments, and apply knowledge of mental health legislation.
• Drive local and national practice developments and contribute to a positive experience for those requiring inpatient care.
Qualifications & Skills
• Registered Nurse with Band 5 level.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of mental health assessment, risk assessment, and relevant legislation.
