Business Development Executive - Transport / Road Freight

Role Requirements:
* Source, secure and develop new business while retaining and growing assigned existing customers
* Achieving sales and revenue targets
* Maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers
* Identify new potential clients and work with other areas of the business to submit competitive tailored proposals
* Work closely with Senior Management teams and other business areas to deliver feedback, updates, and developments
* On board new customers and ensure all new customers are provided with tariffs/rates
* Updating CRM with all new opportunities to review
* Additional ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years proven sales track record of gaining new business and successfully working to and exceeding Sales Targets
* Excellent relationship building and networking skills
* Ability to prioritize, organize and manage time efficiently is essential
* Able to negotiate at a senior level
* Excellent commercial awareness skills
* Good communication, presentation and administration skills
