The Senior Analyst will lead and support trade compliance initiatives, solve cross-border challenges.roles and responsibilitiesRegional Expertise & SupportProvide expert guidance on import/export regulations, customs brokerage, and excise requirements specific to Ireland and the UK.Serve as a key compliance contact for MedTech operations, ensuring alignment with global trade policies and local regulatory requirements.Apply working knowledge of Inward Processing, Outward Processing, including Special Regimes, Free Trade Agreements and Bonded Warehouse, and AEO procedures to optimize customs strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.Facilitate and review Product Classification and Certificate of Origin, whenever necessary, leveraging Global Trade Compliance homologated partners and driving improvements in Master Data regarding these topics.Cross-Regional Operations LeadershipLead and support complex trade compliance projects across EMEA, with a focus on solving cross-border challenges between Ireland and the UK.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (3PLs, CCAs, customs authorities) to ensure smooth trade flows and regulatory adherence.Process OptimizationChampion process excellence across Cork and UK trade operations, identifying and implementing improvements that enhance compliance and efficiency.Support the development of SOPs and work instructions tailored to local site needs, including excise and customs procedures.Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with site leadership, supply chain, finance, and external authorities to ensure stakeholder alignment and proactive issue resolution.Communicate directly and constructively across functions to break down silos and accelerate decision-making.Strategic ImpactContribute to the future-state trade compliance structure post-separation, supporting the transition to a standalone DePuy Synthes organization.Apply financial acumen to assess trade-related costs and drive value through strategic compliance decisions.Continuous Improvement & Change ManagementLead change initiatives and support project implementations across Cork and UK sites.Use data-driven insights and lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement.how to succeedBachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field (advanced certifications preferred)Minimum 6 years of trade compliance experience, with strong knowledge of Irish, UK and EMEA customs environmentsDemonstrated experience with Inward Processing, Outward Processing, and AEO frameworksProven ability to lead cross-regional projects and influence stakeholdersStrong analytical, communication, and decision-making skillsExperience with process improvement methodologies (Lean preferred)benefitsThis role offers a very competitive hourly rate.
