Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional for a large-scale Pharmaceutical Construction project in Athlone.
This role involves ensuring the safety and health of all persons working on or visiting the site, as well as monitoring and enforcing compliance with relevant plans and regulations.

Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and health of all persons working on or visiting the site.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
* Participate in weekly safety audits and meetings.
* Review contractors' method statements, SPAs, and permit applications to ensure risks have been assessed and control measures are in place.
* Coordinate work with the commissioning team during the turnover phase.
* Monitor day-to-day site activities of contractors to ensure they complete their contracts safely, on time, and within budget.
* Run and minute contractor weekly meetings.
* Participate in morning planning meetings at the workface.
* Quality monitor the implementation of contractors' Quality plans, carrying out daily inspections to ensure required standards are achieved.
* Track and review contractors' technical RFI's, submittals, purchases, etc.
* Ensure First of Kind (FOK) register is in place and FOK are approved.
* Complete daily specific inspections and record in the QIR report.
* Liaise with construction management teams on free-issue equipment deliveries, receipt, and inspections.
Requirements
* Degree-educated or exceptionally strong trades background.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Life Science, Mission Critical, or similarly complex project experience.
* At least 15 years construction and/or mechanical experience.
* At least ten years' site experience.
* Previous experience in project delivery desirable.
