Senior Physiotherapist - Adult Services, Kare Permanent Contract 35 hours per week Location: Kilcullen, Co.
Kildare Senior Physiotherapist Scale: €64,551 - €76,007 The Senior Physiotherapist will work on the Adult Clinical Support Team in Kare, contributing to the delivery and future development of an effective service in line with organisational priorities and department objectives, and always acting within their professional standards, guidelines and policy.
This role will operate senior member of Kares clinical supports team, providing services to adults with intellectual disability within their day services, home or residential services, as well as clinical supervision, performance management and ongoing service delivery and improvement.
Responsibilities: Plan, prioritise and organise a clinical caseload relevant to the role Plan assessment and deliver individualised or group physiotherapy interventions as appropriate to the needs identified Collaborate with the service user, all carers and supports staff to identify goals for the service user and plan interventions as appropriate to the situations that present.
Participate in training development and provision to other colleagues as necessary, including staff supporting service users in differing situations Effectively manage and maintain the physiotherapy resources, facilities and equipment Be adequately aware of the policy, legislative and professional requirements to ensure appropriate standards in their area of responsibility Ensure all records related to service provision are documented in accordance with professional standards, completed in a timely manner and are in the correct records as required.
Take responsibility for managing a budget allocated to the service and/or HSE budget requirements and process relevant to funded aids and appliance.
Requirements: Have a Physiotherapy qualification, recognised by CORU Three (3) years post qualification experience Experience working with children/young people/adults with disability is essential Be currently registered with CORU Hold an appropriate and effective set of professional values and beliefs and behave in line with professional standards as set down by Kare and relevant professional bodies Demonstrate sufficient clinical skills in assessment intervention and diagnostics Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide a client and family centred service Excellent time management and IT/computer skills Be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship Full Clean Licence and access to own vehicle is essential Benefits include: 32 days annual leave (will be pro-rated) Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave (subject to service) Federation of Voluntary Bodies Pension Scheme: Employer 7% & Employee 5% contributions Optional Salary Protection Plan Rewarding work with flexible hours Employee Assistance Programme and local Employee Discounts Personal Development, Professional Growth and Career Progression Closing date for applications is 8th March 2026.
