Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in our Dublin office, working in a multidisciplinary structural team on varied projects across Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing and Education sectors for both public and private clients.
Your Role
Act as a Lead Structural Engineer within Multidisciplinary Design Teams.
Provide design input and oversight of all structural aspects of projects.
Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage) and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
Present design intent via PowerPoint presentations.
Prepare fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts with public and private clients.
Communicate with internal and external parties via email.
Oversee preparation of design drawings and calculations for internal and external review.
Act as Ancillary Certifier for the C&S discipline.
Manage design budgets financially.
About You
Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Structural Engineers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Experience delivering Structural Engineering Design.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Experience with structural design software (Robot, Tekla Structural Designer advantageous).
Experience acting as Project C+S engineer on multi‑disciplined projects (client meetings, design team collaboration).
