This role requires an ambitious leader to nurture and develop the growing area of back to base offerings within the Service Department. Previous experience working in a busy workshop environment is an advantage.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManagement & leadership of the Workshop TeamProvide technical support and guidance to team as requiredEnsure compliance with service software enabling efficient call progression and paperwork generation.Implement good housekeeping in all areas of the workshopWorking closely with Internal Service Call Centre to achieve efficient use of resources.Review & monitoring of the team's performanceEnsure team is fully trained and competent in their roleSupport, creation and development of technical documentation when requiredLiaise closely with Quality Department ensuring compliance with procedures within the teamMonitor/Report on Mason Test Equipment to ensure we minimise damage/replacementCreate, maintain & develop, where possible, workflows within the workshop to gain efficienciesWork closely with Team Managers and Business Unit Managers to ensure adherence to workshop processesBe commercially aware and identify areas where we can generate new revenue streamsMaintain a high level of communication & support with Service Business Development Team creating a cohesive approach to the market.What's Important to UsA flexible, positive attitude towards work.Customer focused.Ability to work on own initiative, multi-task and prioritise workload.Excellent attention to detail, while working to tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner.Proficient in MS office suite, with particular emphasis on Excel.Previous experience in a similar role.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsQualifications, Knowledge and Skills RequiredA recognised course completed in electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering.Previous experience of working in a busy workshop environment.Previous experience in a similar type of technical role.Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc.Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, Ph.
