OverviewWe are seeking an experienced MEP Contracts Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems across large-scale residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and timelines, while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.ResponsibilitiesOversee all MEP-related contracts from pre-construction to handoverReview and negotiate terms with clients, consultants, and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with contract obligations, legal requirements, and project specificationsLead the MEP delivery of residential and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to programme and quality standardsCollaborate closely with construction and design teams to ensure coordinated MEP integrationMonitor project progress, report on performance, and address risks and delaysReview MEP designs and specifications for buildability, compliance, and cost-efficiencyEnsure installations are compliant with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standardsLiaise with consultants and design teams during value engineering and design development phasesAppoint, brief, and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliersOversee site activities to ensure safe, high-quality MEP installationsEnsure subcontractor deliverables meet performance, safety, and contractual standardsWork closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, valuations, and cost controlsSupport claims management and contract variationsAssist in monthly reporting and forecasting of MEP worksEnsure MEP works are carried out in accordance with HSE policies and safe work practicesPromote a strong health and safety culture across all project sitesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of experience in MEP contract/project management, with proven delivery of large residential and commercial projectsStrong knowledge of building services design, MEP systems, and construction methodsExperienced in managing contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, or similar)Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skillsProficient in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management systemsOther OpportunitiesAccess Talent Group are working with a tier 1 Contractor.
