Area Sales Manager - Automation Solutions Location: 32 county role - a lot of business in Dublin and Cork Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 + €10,000 - €20,00 commission | Company car | Pension | 22 Days Leave THE COMPANY: Our client is a global leader in industrial automation solutions, supplying a full range of drives, controls, sensors, machine safety and automation technologies to high-volume manufacturing sites across Ireland.
They work with major pharma, food & beverage, medical device, electronics and general manufacturing customers, and are continuing to expand their Irish operation due to sustained growth.
THE ROLE: They are now looking to hire an Automation Sales Engineer to cover the Republic of Ireland, with a strong focus on manufacturing end users and OEMs.
You will sell a full suite of automation products, including variable speed drives, industrial sensors, controls, safety systems and automation components.
This is a mix of account management and new business, inheriting a strong existing client base while driving growth across key manufacturing sites.
You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, production and procurement teams to advise, specify and deliver best-fit automation solutions.
Strong technical support and onboarding are provided.
This is a field-based role covering ROI, typically 3-4 days on the road and the remainder WFH.
Ideally, you will be based in Leinster, but they are open for the right person across the Republic of Ireland.
THE PERSON: We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience selling automation or industrial electrical solutions such as VSDs, sensors, controls, machine safety or related technologies.
Experience selling into manufacturing environments is essential-pharma, food & beverage, medical device, OEMs, integrators, etc.
You will be technically minded, commercially aware and comfortable managing and growing a territory.
A full clean driving licence is required.
