We are hiring a Senior General Manager to help shape the Staycity guest journey. Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.We are a team of doers, thinkers and hospitality lovers, committed to delivering standout guest experiences and building a culture we’re proud of.ResponsibilitiesSupport all HODs in all aspects of running the property, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales and revenue.Ensure that all departments operate within Staycity Group brand SOPs, monitor feedback, and take timely action.Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against goals; provide constructive feedback through coaching, training, performance appraisals, and meetings.Produce forecasts for revenues and costs and monitor budgets; communicate any shortfalls promptly to the Executive On Duty (EOD).Ensure compliance with legislation and Staycity Group requirements regarding Health & Safety and other statutory regulations.Deliver department-specific training plans to enhance skills and align with strategic goals.Cultivate collaborative relationships across departments to promote effective communication and teamwork.Monitor guest feedback from surveys, third-party sites and guest stays; resolve disputes and complaints professionally within guidelines.QualificationsMinimum of 5+ years’ senior-level experience as a General Manager in large-scale hotel or aparthotel operations.Demonstrated success in driving revenue through strategic commercial initiatives.Humility, approachability, and an ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Forward-thinking and innovative mindset with a focus on operational improvements.Self-motivated leadership, able to inspire and guide the team effectively.Energetic, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances.Highly organized with keen attention to detail; able to make decisions under pressure.Ability to engage in strategic business discussions at a high level.Experience in training, guiding, and supporting teams and driving a performance-oriented culture.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.BenefitsPaid family leave (>1 year of service).Pension scheme through Zurich.Health and Dental care through Laya.Bonus scheme rewarding high performers, based on core values and property goals.Discounted rates for overnight stays for you, your family and friends.Refer-and-earn scheme – up to £/€550.Cycle to work scheme to support a healthy lifestyle and the planet.Education Support to foster new skills.2 paid volunteer days per year.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family.Automatically enrolled into Elevate, Staycity’s leadership program for developing values-driven and commercially astute leaders.Join us and be part of the journey.
