Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
This role is for a motivated and hard-working individual to join the maintenance team in a manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out mechanical & electrical issues.
The company specializes in food environment and has multiple sites throughout Ireland and the UK, with a strong reputation across both regions.
The job involves working with the maintenance team lead/manager and department managers across the site to ensure maintenance, quality, and health & safety are met.
Duties:
* Performing maintenance and repairs on company equipment in line with SOPs and safe working practices.
* Resolving any issues and reporting defects or concerns that could cause future problems.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
* Undertaking basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs of faulty production equipment.
* Responding to and carrying out reactive maintenance tasks efficiently, minimizing disruption to the business.
* Logging any defects or issues.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies.
* Carrying out additional maintenance duties confirmed by the maintenance supervisor.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering with strong experience in Mechanical/Electrical.
* 3-4+ years' experience working within a Production/Manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of PLCS, HMI, electronic circuits, panel building, and PLC.
* Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work within a team environment.
* Flexibility to work certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
