The eCommerce administrator will report directly to the Retail Manager and will be responsible for the daily operations of the online store with a focus on providing the best customer experience at all stages of the customer journey.The online store has been established for over a decade with huge growth in the last 3 years, retailing items across a range of departments including fashion and giftware.This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working within a successful, energetic and driven online retail team.Role responsibilitiesCustomer ServiceTo deal promptly and professionally with customer webchat, email and telephone enquiries. Guide and advise potential customers with the sales process, and assist with any queries or issues that they may have.Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring they are presented well and that the correct items are included in each order.Online inventory control and product uploadsUpdate stock levels on the online store as needed, and assist with the upload and optimisation of products.Order processingMonitoring order and updating their status’ as they are fulfilled. Reconciling orders with internal financial tools and dealing with any queries regarding payments. Liaise as required with the online shop warehouses in order to resolve delivery issues and e-ticketing.Website maintenanceAbility to manage and update the store website.Skills & ExperienceExcellent computer skills – preferably having previously worked with shopify, woocommerce, magento or similar ecommerce CMSKeen attention to detail and product presentation, ensuring a best in class service for our online customersPrevious over the phone or in person customer service experience.
