Job Overview:
Med Doc Healthcare is currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Locum Doctors to join our team, working with Health Service Executive (HSE) hospitals across Ireland. As a Locum Doctor, you will provide essential medical care and support in both short-term and long-term assignments, ensuring high-quality care for patients while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medical care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and conditions in accordance with established medical guidelines.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care to patients.
* Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and HSE guidelines.
* Provide advice and guidance to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals as needed.
* Respond to emergencies and participate in the on-call rota if required.
* Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and training sessions.
* Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
* Manage patient discharge and referrals as necessary.
Key Requirements:
* Medical degree and full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
* Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting, preferably with experience in a similar role.
* Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Flexibility to work in various locations across Ireland.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
