About the Role
We are appointing a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive revenue, visibility and commercial partnerships for a dynamic hospitality and events venue in Cork City.
This is a hands-on, target-driven role focused on generating bookings, footfall and brand awareness through proactive sales, marketing campaigns, partnerships and events.
You will work closely with the Venue & Commercial Manager and ownership team to position the venue as a go-to destination for events, social gatherings, brand activations and private bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
* Proactively sell the venue for private events, corporate bookings and group functions
* Manage inbound enquiries and actively pursue new business opportunities
* Build relationships with local businesses, agencies, promoters and organisers
* Develop packages for events, parties, launches and seasonal opportunities
* Track leads, conversions and revenue performance
Marketing & Promotion
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive footfall and bookings
* Manage social media activity, digital listings and promotional content
* Coordinate advertising, PR, collaborations and influencer partnerships
* Promote weekly events, live entertainment and venue activations
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
Events & Partnerships
* Identify and secure partnerships with brands, suppliers and sponsors
* Work with the operations team to deliver successful events and activations
* Coordinate event promotion before, during and after delivery
* Analyse event performance and recommend improvements
Reporting & Strategy
* Monitor sales performance, marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness
* Provide regular reporting to management with insights and recommendations
* Contribute to commercial strategy and growth planning
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in sales, marketing or business development (hospitality or events preferred)
* Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue
* Confident communicator and natural relationship builder
* Creative, organised and proactive
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live venue environment
* Experience managing social media and digital marketing channels
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required
