The Senior Life Reinsurance Specialist will lead teams in structuring and underwriting complex transactions.
* Oversee the creation and execution of bespoke reinsurance strategies.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver solutions that optimize business growth and regulatory compliance.
* Manage transactions from inception through to approval and completion.
* Contribute to the development of junior professionals in the actuarial field.
* Represent the organization in high-level negotiations with clients and their advisors.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in a senior actuarial role.
* Strong background in life reinsurance or insurance portfolio valuations/M&A.
* Excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II, APRA, and RBC.
* Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with senior clients.
* Commercially astute leader with strong communication and influencing skills.
