St. Michael’s House, with a Head Office based in Ballymun, Dublin 9 is one of Ireland’s largest providers of community-based services for children and adults with a disability. We provide a comprehensive range of services and supports to adults and children with disabilities, and their families, in 180 locations in the Greater Dublin area:
Due to the terms of office of some Directors expiring, we are now inviting applications for Director positions on the board of St. Michael’s House.
Applications which display experience and expertise in the following areas would be particularly desirable:
* Financial/Accounting
* Clinical/Social Care
* Risk Management
* Human Resources
* Public Health
* Government relations
* IT
* Lived experience of disabilities
Successful candidates will be required to prepare for and attend approximately six board meetings per annum. All board meetings are currently being conducted via a hybrid model, i.e., via TEAMS/in person.
In addition, all members of the St Michael’s House board are required to serve on one of the subcommittees of the board. This will involve attending subcommittee meetings, which can range from 2-6 meetings per annum.
