Dunwood Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction contractor to appoint several Project Managers to deliver a range of residential, education, and healthcare projects across multiple locations in Wicklow. These roles offer the opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary teams on high-quality schemes within a collaborative and well-structured organisation.
Role Overview
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of construction projects. Working closely with site teams, clients, and design consultants, you will ensure that all works meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all stages of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
* Oversee project budgets, programmes, procurement, and resources.
* Lead and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and external consultants.
* Ensure strict adherence to health & safety, quality, and contractual obligations.
* Monitor progress, identify risks, and report regularly to senior management.
* Resolve issues quickly to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience managing residential, education, or healthcare projects.
* Solid understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project management practices.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and subcontractor performance.
* Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software (MS Project or similar).
* Full Irish driving licence required.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to motivate project teams.
