We're currently recruiting for a Pensions and HR Clerical Officer to join a busy HR department on a temporary, week-to-week basis. This role is based in Letterkenny and offers 35 hours per week with an hourly rate of €16.87. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of HR Operations & Pensions Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic, public-sector environment. Essential Requirements: Candidates must meet one of the following: At least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (Higher, Ordinary, Applied or Vocational Programmes), or equivalent A full award at QQI Level 5 or higher Relevant work experience that demonstrates equivalent skills and expertise Highly Desirable Experience: Previous work in finance, HR, or other administrative roles Knowledge of GDPR legislation Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially Outlook, Word, Excel, Mail Merge, and database management Experience working to tight deadlines and meeting/exceeding targets Verifying data against internal and external sources Experience in project planning and improving workflow through ICT Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and timely decision-making A flexible and adaptable approach to departmental needs Key Attributes: Self-starter and team player Friendly, trustworthy, and approachable Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT/admin skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure Resilient, enthusiastic, and supportive of team goals If you're an organised, motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficient administration, we'd love to hear from you!
