About the Opportunity
You will join a team of risk & trading professionals, serving as the first line of defense against irregular market movements.
The team ensures our users and company are well protected by identifying early signs of high risk activities (e.g., liquidation events, high volatility periods).
In addition to real‑time monitoring, you will also work on risk alerts/tools enhancements.
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess key risk areas within derivatives/margin, identifying unusual trading patterns to prevent manipulative trades.
Develop risk models, alerts, tools, and dashboards, enhancing the monitoring capabilities.
Conduct daily reviews and root‑cause analyses of incidents.
Prepare accurate risk reports and findings for relevant teams in a timely manner.
Explore the usage of AI and automation for trading risk monitoring.
Proactively share timely updates on market developments and demonstrate deep expertise in market dynamics.
Implement and maintain risk policies and procedures aligned with organizational strategy and evolving market conditions to prevent, mitigate, and eliminate risks.
Requirements
Curiosity and passion for cryptocurrency derivatives.
Ability to work shifts, 5 days per week (including some weekends).
Good knowledge of crypto derivatives; defi knowledge is an added bonus.
Bachelor's Degree, preferably related to Mathematics, Quant Finance, Financial Engineering.
Experience in AI and automation is an added bonus.
