*Job Summary*The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of office operations, including administrative tasks, staff management, Health and Safety and facility maintenance, and ensuring smooth daily functioning, while also managing and implementing company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities and Duties:* payroll, purchasing and process vendor invoices* Managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.* Maintaining office records, files, and databases.* Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.* Provide administrative support to all departments*Staff Management:** Coordinating with HR on employee matters.* Training and onboarding new employees.* Maintain employee records and files* Manage and maintain records and files of Temporary Foreign Workers including applications for applicable immigration programs* Assisting with employee relations and resolving conflicts.*Health and Safety:** Implement and manage the company?s Health and Safety Committee* Manage and maintain Safety Meeting and Inspection schedules.* Assist with creating, managing and implementing policies and procedures.*Facilities Management:** Overseeing office space, equipment, and maintenance.* Managing vendors and contractors for office services.* Ensuring a clean, organized, and functional workspace.*Other Duties:** Process customer Credit Applications* Booking travel accommodations such as rental cars, hotels and flights* Manage and maintain company supplier warranty files* Assisting with special projects and tasks as needed.* Implementing and maintaining office management systems*Skills:** Has the ability to protect sensitive information by understanding policies, exercising discretion, and maintaining privacy, ensuring that information is only shared with authorized individuals and on a need-to-know basis when dealing with confidential information.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs and other relevant software.* Knowledge of office procedures and best practices.Salary negotiable based on experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00-$24.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental care* Extended health careSchedule:* Monday to FridayLanguage:* English (required)Work Location: In person
