Overview
My Homecare are currently recruiting for a female Personal Care Assistant in the Limerick Area. Permanent contracts are available for the right candidates.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have completed at minimum Care Skills & Care of the Older Person modules at QQI Level 5 and previous experience providing care within the healthcare or homecare setting.

Requirements
* Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules.
* Minimum of 120 hours work experience within a healthcare or homecare setting.
* An in-date Patient Moving and Handling and CPR cert desirable but training can be provided.
* Must be willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
* Full driving licence.

* Assisting with the client’s personal needs within their own home.
* Assisting with all aspects of the client’s daily living.
* Excellent observational skills.
* Reliability and commitment to client.
* Adhere to confidentiality policy at all times.
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with the client and family.
* Providing personal care to meet the clients needs.
* Ability to work well as part of a team of nurses and other Personal Assistants.
* Providing assistance to nurse and client/family.
