About the Role
Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our restaurant as General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest service and dining experiences.
* Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and maintaining high standards.
* Collaborate with senior management on key departmental projects and business objectives.
* Develop and implement strategies for menu improvement, promotions, and service delivery.
* Work closely with the kitchen team to refine menu pricing and food cost control.
* Assist in managing inventory, staffing plans, and budgets.
* Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to ensure consistent performance.
* Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.
* Ensure effective communication with other departments and senior leadership.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior supervisory or management role in a 4- or 5-star establishment.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to manage budgets, control food costs, and forecast accurately.
* Experience with POS systems and hotel operational software.
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused in a fast-paced environment.
* Access to own transportation.
* Hospitality or business-related qualification desirable (not essential).
* Proficiency in Excel, stock control, or inventory software.
* Understanding of yield management and cost-saving initiatives.
