Job Description
As an experienced occupational therapist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life and independence for older adults through specialist OT assessment and intervention.
Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive OT assessments focusing on function, cognition, and daily living skills. Additionally, you will design and implement compensatory strategies to support autonomy and engagement in meaningful activities.
Other key responsibilities include providing specialist seating and positioning assessments for clients with complex physical and cognitive needs, facilitating individual and group programmes within the inpatient setting, leading on discharge planning, contributing to service development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
* A strong clinical interest in older adult mental health and dementia care.
* Confidence in delivering rehabilitation and compensatory interventions.
* Skills or a keen interest in specialist seating and positioning.
* Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
