The Quality and Safety Department is seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety Data Manager to provide analytical and administrative support to the Head of Quality and Safety. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a clerical officer at Grade IV level in the public sector or a comparable statutory health agency.
Job Description:
The Q&S Data Manager will work as an effective member of the Quality & Safety team, proactively contributing to the priorities of the Department. Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support to the Head of Quality and Safety, co-ordinating activities related to quality and safety, following up on incidents, managing risk, and co-ordinating meetings.

* Co-ordinate activities related to quality and safety
* Follow up on incidents and manage risk
* Co-ordinate meetings and ensure effective communication within the team
Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, ability to liaise and work well with a broad range of disciplines at all levels. They should have proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel software, and be able to manage time and demonstrate a high level of organisation skills. A proven track record of working with large data sets is essential.
Essential Criteria:
* Have a minimum of two years' experience as a clerical officer at Grade IV level in the public sector or a comparable statutory health agency
* Hold a comparable and relevant third-level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework
* Hold a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish
Desirable Criteria:
* Have worked in the acute adult hospital sector in Ireland for a minimum of two years
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise and work well with a broad range of disciplines at all levels
* Ability to manage time and demonstrate a high level of organisation skills
* Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel software
* Proven track record of working with large data sets
