Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading public sector organisation in Dublin on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes, manage tender competitions, and ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations. Responsibilities
* Manage procurement competitions using the eTenders platform.
* Conduct supply market analysis and supplier engagement.
* Lead the full tender process from preparation to contract award.
* Provide procurement advice to project teams and stakeholders.
* Work with legal advisors on tender and contract documentation.
* Chair evaluation meetings and manage feedback to suppliers.
* Support sustainable and green procurement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong knowledge of the 2016 Public Sector and Utilities Procurement Regulations.
* Experience with public sector procurement and eTenders.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
* High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
