Quantity Surveyor Job Description
Job Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to lead and support the accurate estimation, cost control, and financial management of construction projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* To assist in leading the commercial function from project commencement through to final account.
* To assess sub-contractor payment applications and variations ensuring compliance with contract terms.
* To ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and value for money.
* To review subcontractor tenders and negotiate subcontract tender packages ensuring best value for the company.
Requirements & Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position you will need:
A third level degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience working on multiple projects/sites.
Familiarity with contracting services including knowledge of renewable energy sector an advantage.
