We are presently recruiting for a Technical Document Manager for our clients, a multinational company in County Kerry. You will be responsible for the creation, organisation, and maintenance of accurate, compliant engineering documents. They manage writers, collaborate with engineers, ensure consistency, oversee tools, and uphold quality standards to support product development, compliance, and user understanding. This is a full time, permanent position based in County Kerry.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Technical Documentation department, including all department functions processes and responsibilities.
2. Coordination technical documentation ensuring compliance to work schedules, project timelines and contracts.
3. Maintain a detailed understanding of the Liebherr product technology within the team.
4. Manage compliance with relevant standards, corporate guidelines, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
5. Work with suppliers as required to obtain sub-supplier documentation.
6. Manage the development of the LiRS content editing system.
7. Map the documentation process.
Qualifications & Competencies
8. A third level qualification in engineering.
9. 4+ years' experience in a similar position. Experience in a regulated industry within a manufacturing background is essential.
10. Experienced in developing optimum methods and processes.
