We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory & Compliance Manager position. This is a Permanent Contract, full-time role. This role is based in our Quality team at our Wexford factory in Ireland and reports to the Head of OFS & PCM.
Outline of the Role:
The Regulatory Manager will lead the Regulatory Function of the business ensuring full compliance with Irish, EU and International Regulations. They will develop and execute regulatory strategies, oversee production registrations and liaise with regulatory authorities – safeguarding the safety, quality and legality of our products.
The successful candidate will demonstrate Regulatory & Compliance Experience & Stakeholder Management experience. They will track regulatory correspondence, support regulatory revies and inspections and maintain oversite of regulatory commitments and risk mitigation programmes in coordination with fellow colleagues.
More job duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory strategies, standards and systems tailored to Supply Point Portfolio in accordance with Danone & Regulatory Requirements
Maintain knowledge of EU and Irish Regulations governing Infant/Follow on Formula Composition.
Prepare and submit registration dossiers for new markets.
Manage responses to regulatory queries, coordinate technical documentation and maintain approval updates.
Support Crisis Response
Support Supply Chain in Customs & Export Statements/Queries
Be the key contact for all external regulatory bodies eg DAFM, FDA, GACC
Be the key contact for regulatory functions within Danone CBUs
Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
Facilitate all external audit requirements.
Ensure full participation in the Danone Annual PDR/Development Conversations process on sHaRe.
Perform any duties as assigned by manager or his/her designees
About You
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree in related discipline such as Microbiology, Chemistry and/or General Science.
Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical.
Experience in Regulatory and compliance management
Demonstrable People Management Skills & Experience
Appetite for new technologies, curious and enthusiastic.
Results orientated.
